Partnering with the Beacon Plus

We are really pleased to be working with Beacon Plus again, offering work placements to the young people in their programme. Beacon Plus exists to increase the opportunities to access employment and develop skills for independent adulthood for a range of young adults whose statutory education was within a specialist setting. In the Locavore Community Garden, they are able to learn a range of skills from basic gardening and food growing, to DIY and maintenance, all whilst enjoying the connection with nature. They are a valued part of our team and we look forward to developing this partnership in the future.
